BOISE, Idaho —

Marie (Miller) Rockrohr of Boise, ID, formerly of Clinton, IA joined our Lord on April 16, 2013. She went peacefully at home.

Marie was born April 28, 1926, and was raised by attorney Margaret Miller Kolarik. She graduat- ed in 1945 from Lyons High School. On March 28, 1947, she married LeRoy Rockrohr at the Commu- nity Church in Lyons. The couple spent their lives in Clinton, having and raising three children: Dick of Boise, ID, Gary of Neosha, MO, and David of Boi- great-grandchildren.

Marie loved God, birds, dogs, sports, camping, and riding mopeds with her husband. Music was a daily part of Marie’s life; she was a gifted singer and very much enjoyed leading her children and grandchildren in sing-a-longs around the piano. She was a great cook and formidable card player; in her later years, she enjoyed doing puzzles and feeding the birds out- side her home.

Marie was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and an active member of the Clinton Humane Society where she volunteered, served on the board, and was president.

Marie is survived by her husband, three children, sister Carol Olson of Bryant, IA, brother Edison Mill- er of Burbank, CA, and numerous grandchildren and friends. Cremation is planned for her remains now that her spirit has joined her Blessed Savior.

Condolences may be sent to 9150 S Talon, Boise, ID 83709. No services are planned.
