FULTON, Ill. — Kathryn “Tootie” Bielema, 91, of Morrison, died Monday at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, with the Rev. Ralph Beidler, pastor of Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Fulton Chapel – Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.

Memorials may be directed to Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton, IL and Resthave Home, Morrison, IL.

Kathryn was born January 1, 1923 in Garden Plain Township, IL to John and Tessie (Norman) Zeeryp.

Kathryn was educated in the Fulton Christian Grade School and attended Fulton High School.

She married Raymond W. Bielema on January 6, 1942 in Fulton, IL; he died October 15, 1984.

Kathryn farmed, along with her husband, Ray in rural Morrison. She was a member of Spring Valley Reformed Church in Fulton, where she was active in the Ladies Aid Society.

Kathryn enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and traveling.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda (Arnold) Damhoff, Morrison, IL, Norma (Dean) Boehde, Clinton, IA, Debra (Larry) Tervelt, Loves Park, IL, Bonnie (John) Bauscher, Morrison, IL; three sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Bielema, Canton, IL, Joe (Cindy) Bielema, Morrison, IL, and John (Charlene) Bielema, Morrison, IL; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Bielema, Fulton, IL; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; one son, Terry Bielema; one grandchild, Benjamin Bauscher; one sister, Marian Rose; two brothers, Harold Zeeryp and one in infancy.
