So what are your plans this morning?
Here’s an idea — today marks the final legislative forum that will take place at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce during the 2011 Iowa state legislative session.
The forums are a great place to listen to what state representatives and senators — the ones who represent our residents — have to say about what is going on at the Statehouse.
Not only will they tell you about what’s going on in their respective chambers and on the committees they serve, they also are there to listen.
Have a concern? You can ask our legislators if that is being addressed this session and what they think will come of it. These forums also can end up introducing ideas to legislators that they can then bring back to Des Moines for possible further discussion and action down the road.
Today’s the day and 9 a.m. is the time. This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.
