Patricia G. Leu, 90, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at the Maquoketa Care Center in Maquoketa.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. There is no public visitation and cremation has taken place. Burial will be in the Pence Cemetery, rural Baldwin, Iowa.  The Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia Gilmore Tabor was born November 24, 1920, at the family farm north of Baldwin, Iowa, to Clifford Gilmore and Lena (Gee) Tabor.

Patricia was a nurse at Mercy/Genesis Medical Center West Campus in Davenport for over 50 years.

Her hobbies included a love for music, dancing, puppies, kitties and her family.

Patricia is survived by a brother, Dennison (Barbara) Tabor on the family farm in Baldwin, IA; a sister, Mary Jane Proctor of Waterloo, IA; her loving nieces and nephews; and her special friend in music, Brian Marceau. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Larry; an infant son, Donald; and a son, Craig Alan.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the nearest animal shelter/humane society of your choice.
