I would like to thank the Masons for all their hard work in providing Clothe-A-Child each year for Camanche students.
What a great opportunity for those children to get new school clothes, warm winter coats and boots for the winter. This is an excellent program and I want to those that are involved and those that donate to realize what a marvelous experience it is for the students of Camanche School District. Thank you.

Support Richardson
As the presidential campaign heats up much of the attention is on the so called front runners. Iowa voters, who are known for selecting not the most glamorous but the most qualified candidate, should look past the big names and even bigger dollars to New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
Richardson has been elected Governor twice; last November he won 68 percent of the vote in a predominately Republican state. He has created tens of thousands of good jobs, improved public education and guaranteed access to health care for children. Richardson has worked hard to make New Mexico a leader on renewable energy and has been a consistent and proud supporter of organized labor. Governor Richardson also has an impressive foreign policy resume. He has served as Ambassador to the UN and Secretary of Energy. As a diplomat, he negotiated the release of hostages from Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, retrieved the remains of fallsen POWs in North Korea and brokered a cease fire in Darfur. No other candidate, Democrat or Republican, can point to such concrete foreign policy accomplishments. I am supporting Governor Richardson because of his proven record of achievement on domestic issues and his experience as a diplomat abroad. Caucus goers in Clinton County should ask themselves what they are looking for in a President. If the answer is experience and leadership they need look no further than Bill Richardson.
