On Saturday, Feb. 25, my son, Joseph Sims (we all know him as Jo-Jo) went out to eat at Nora’s Cafe with his Uncle Mike and Grandpa, as he does every morning.

He had just gotten his food and taken two bites when he went into a seizure. I was told that Nick Hadji, who works there, took charge and got him to the floor and talked to him while waitress Donna Johnson called 911.

I have since been in Nora’s and everyone has asked how he is doing. Joe is much better. I just want to thank everyone for their help with my son, especially Nick and Donna. I am truly grateful and love Nora’s Cafe and the people who work there.

Thank you again.
