READER'S LETTER: Debt keeps piling up

Letter to the Editor

CLINTON — Americans and Mexicans killed at the border because of federal government gun-running.

Ambassadors killed when their pleas for more security are ignored.

Soldiers killed in the Middle East because military plans are announced to the world.

Health care bills are pushed through with no congressman allowed to read them.

“Green” companies are financed with no chance of financial survival.

Private-sector jobs are prohibited — think Boeing North Carolina, the Keystone pipeline, and oil refinery money sent to Brazil but not allowed here.

Government-paid jobs are encouraged — think GM and big banks.  So now we have one million more people unemployed and 15 million people on food stamps.

Is it any wonder we’re $5 million more in debt than four years ago?

Alice Peters,

Clinton
