At the event, Lyle will do a reading from their books and answer questions. Kim will be dressed in traditional native Ojibwa clothing. She will sing and drum, and talk about a day in the life of the native peoples in the 1800s. The way families lived back then, how the work was divided, how food was cooked, what they ate, how they courted and more will be discussed. In addition, Kim will bring items for people to view as well as provide a native turkey and rice soup for people to taste.
