Bake a fruit pie for Autumn fest! Community members are invited to enter a fruit pie in a pie-baking contest which will be judged on the day of the event. Pies must be fruit, homemade and entered in the name of the person who baked it with one entry per person. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place. Pies must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, at the children’s desk of the main library. Entry forms with full rules can be picked up at the Main or Lyons branches of the library.
Donate a cake for our cake walk. Promote your business or organization by donating a cake to the Clinton Public Library for a cake walk during our annual Autumn Fest. When you donate, we will advertise your business/organization on our website thanking you for your contribution. Buy it or make it then bring it to the Clinton Public Library Thursday, Sept. 26, or Friday, Sept. 27, before 5 p.m. Individuals may donate a cake too. Please RSVP to Librarian Tamie Bird to let her know you’ll be participating, by calling 243-5436, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
