I rode by there pretty early and little was going on, but I can just imagine what it was like by mid-afternoon.
We were greeted in Monroe by the PCM High School cheerleaders, as well as other enthusiastic volunteers. It was a great pass-through town with all kinds of food options.
After that, we finished the ride with a 14-mile journey to Knoxville, which included a beautiful tour across the mile-long bridge at Lake Red Rock, Iowa’s largest lake.
When we arrived in Knoxville, we were led around the Knoxville Raceway, which was very cool.
From here we head to Oskaloosa today. I’ll check in later.
