On Monday, May 5, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., read to a therapy dog at the library. Kids can read aloud to a therapy dog in order to improve reading and communication skills. Children read individually to trained therapy pets (and their handlers) at the library where they can feel comfortable and confident — and have fun. Those who sign up for the month of February will get a free grab bag to take home. Kids will also get prizes along the way for each time they read to our therapy dogs. Registration is required. Please call the library or sign up at the children’s desk at the Main Branch.
Got Legos? The Clinton Public Library children’s department plans to start a Legos club this June. We would appreciate donations of new or used Legos bricks. Please no Duplo bricks. Drop donations at the children’s desk on the second floor of the library.
