---- — On Aug. 7, I broke my arm but I’m happy to say that I’m back at the library.
If you have any adult programming questions, you can contact me at 242-8441.
The library will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day.
Young Adult Council
Previously known as TAB, the Young Adult Council will be starting up in September. YAC is a way for teens to communicate what they would like to see at their library. The council meets with Kendra Evers on a monthly basis.
The group chats about new books, things teens want to see at the library and plans for events to be held for teens. YAC is a great way to get involved in the community and have their voices heard. Newcomers are welcome at the table.
Sign-ups to join will be held on Wednesday. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. Meetings range from 30 minutes to an hour.
The theme for next week is We’ve Got Mail. Come in and enjoy stories about sending and receiving letters.
