Question of the Week: Will the Hawkeyes beat Michigan?

By DUANE NOLLEN
The Oskaloosa Herald

OSKALOOSA

A majority of those readers who answered this past week’s Question of the Week: Do you support Congress’ health care reform effort? said NO.

Twenty-one — 36.21 percent — said YES while 37 — 63.79 percent — answered NO.

The Question of the Week poll is not scientific and only reflects the opinions of those Internet users who have chosen to participate. The Question of the Week is just another way the Herald’s readers can voice their opinions about issues that affect them.

This week’s Question of the Week deals with the Iowa Hawkeye’s big homecoming showdown with Michigan Saturday.

The Hawkeyes won a scary game against Arkansas State 24-21 Saturday at Kinnick Stadium. Now, the Hawkeyes are 5-0 — something they have not done since 1995. This next week, Michigan, who lost a close game to their in-state rival Michigan State 26-20 Saturday, comes to town.

Can the Hawkeye defense do to Michigan’s Tate Forcier what they did to Penn State’s Daryll Clark two games ago? Can Hawkeye quarterback Ricky Stanzi clean up his interception miscues? Will Tyler Sash surpass his interception total from this past year?

Will it be enough to beat Michigan?

What do you think?

This week’s Question of the Week: Will the Hawkeyes beat Michigan?

People can vote on The Herald’s Web site, oskaloosa.com, from Monday through noon on Friday. Then, votes will be tallied and published the following Monday.
