CLINTON — The Clinton School Board will be asked tonight to approve the priorities for the use of future voter-approved Physical Plant and Equipment Levy funds. Taxpayers will be asked to renew the levy on March 7. Improvements will include:
• $2 million targeted to supplement community funds raised for the development and improvements of district athletic facilities;
• $1.85 million for improvements to the HVAC and plumbing at Clinton High School;
• $1.5 million targeted for ongoing repair and maintenance of roofs, masonry and pavement;
• $700,000 for life safety improvements;
• $400,000 for renovation of the CHS Cook Theatre;
• $30,000 for energy conservation projects at Bluff and Whittier elementary schools.
Also on the agenda will be a report regarding the high school core curriculum and graduation requirements.
The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the CHS library.
