CHS play opens Friday

CLINTON — The Clinton High School Drama Department will present the classic comedy “You Can’t Take It With You” Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Clinton High School Vernon Cook Little Theatre.

Tickets are available at the door, $5 for students and $6 for adults

The story revolves around the Sycamores, who at first appear mad, but it is not long before the audience realizes that if they are mad the rest of the world is madder. In contrast to this delightful family are the unhappy Kirbys.

The Kirbys’ young attractive son, Tony, falls in love with Alice Sycamore. When the Kirbys come to dinner on the wrong night hilarious events unfold.

The show features Marty Sherman, Sandra Klooster, Adam Cunningham, Julia Mitchell, Jessica Drobot and Shane Miller. CHS teacher Wayne Hess serves as director.
