Acting out

FULTON, Ill. — The winter one-act plays will be held this weekend in Fulton.

The Fulton High School Thespians will present the plays at 7 p.m. Saturday at the west auditorium. Two seniors and one junior will direct the three one-acts. The student directors select the plays, conduct tryouts, select the cast and conduct the rehearsals.

Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults and may be purchased at the door.

Siara O’Leary Hawk is directing “13 Ways To Screw Up Your College Interview,” a short comedy by Ian McWethy and produced by special arrangements with Playscripts, Inc.

Cast members include Brandi Pessman, Brody May, Collin Puckett and Allison Winkel.

Thomas Hand is directing “Mirrors,” a drama written by John O’Brien and produced by special arrangements with The Dramatic Publishing Company.

Tori Wiest, Lucas Wiebenga, Sarah Stephen, Arian Casey and Weston Dixon are cast members.

“Rutherford Wolf,” a comedy by Thomas Hischak and produced with special arrangements with Samuel French, is being directed by Krista Temple.

Cast members include Ryan Dail, Taylor Curley, Jake Outzen, Breanna Eissens, Aaron Field, Lexie Bennett, Cassie VanZuiden, Emma VanZuiden and Nathan Ankrom.
