STANWOOD, Iowa—The Bellevue Comets slipped past North Cedar in five sets and advance to the next round of regionals next Tuesday.

Rebecca Schroeder led the net play for the Comets with 34 kills through the five sets, while Emma Kelchen added 16 more. Schroeder also had 19 of the team’s assists and 18 defensive digs.

Giana Michels led the back row with 28 digs. 

Brin Daugherty had the team high 36 assists. The Comets eight aces as a team and 14 blocks. 

The Comets will move on to play Dike-New Hartford next Tuesday in Delhi.
