PLEASANT VALLEY — Pleasant Valley swept all the matches in straight sets to beat Clinton 9-0 in boys tennis Tuesday.

“Although I would have liked to have seen the players win more games, and in particular, more of the deuce points, I see a very bright future in these underclassmen,” Clinton coach David Moore said. “Time is on our side.”

Nolan Rolston had the closest match, losing back-to-back 6-4 sets to Pleasant Valley’s Andrew Hartman.

“Nolan Rolston played aggressive tennis, taking the net and ending points against a very good Andrew Hartman,” Moore said.
