ERIE, Ill. — Three Rock Falls players reached double digits Wednesday as the Rockets defeated Erie 61-36 at the Sauk Valley Shootout in girls basketball.

Abbee Sigel and Miranda Hewitt each scored 12 points for Rock Falls, and Taliyah McGowan added 11.

The Rockets outscored the Cardinals 15-4 in the first quarter and never looked back. Bree Johnson scored five of those points, and Sigel added four.

Jenna Saad scored 12 points to lead Erie.
