BELLEVUE — Tyler Banowetz scored two goals and assisted on the other three to lead Marquette Catholic past Monticello 5-0 in boys soccer Tuesday.

Nathan Brinker gave the Mohawks (4-1) the only goal they needed when he scored in the 14th minute. It was the only goal of the first half.

The Mohawks broke open the match after halftime. Grant Kilburg scored in the 62nd minute, Banowetz scored in the 67th and 69th minutes, and Kole Wagner added a final goal in the 72nd minute.

Marquette finished with 20 shots, while goalkeeper Jordan Renner stopped all four Monticello shots on goal. The Mohawks also had a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
