DAVENPORT -- Freshman Brennan Lemke scored four goals Tuesday, leading the Clinton boys soccer team to its first win of the season. The River Kings defeated Davenport West 6-2 in Mississippi Athletic Conference action.
Brett Beckwith and Dylan Michels also scored for the River Kings (1-4), who had 11 shots on goal. Dakota Michels led Clinton with two assists, while Daniel Stewart and Rourke Paulsen also had helpers.
Dawson Sally and Ryan Day split time in goal for the Kings.

CLINTON -- Krista Atkinson, Hannah Burken and McKenna Molder scored goals as the Clinton girls soccer team recorded its second consecutive shutout in a 3-0 win against Davenport West Tuesday.
Jenna Stremlow continued her scoreless streak in net, as she stopped all five shots she faced in the first 77 minutes. Haley Burken served as goalkeeper for the final three minutes and made two saves.
Atkinson, Keegan Cassidy and Sam McCue had assists.
MAQUOKETA -- Kaleena Wilkins and Catia Atienza each scored two goals Tuesday, and Chiara Atienza recorded a shutout in goal, as Maquoketa blanked Williamsburg 5-0 in girls soccer.
Chiara Atienza made eight saves. Claire Sybesma scored the other goal for Maquoketa. Brooke Klemann assisted.
