West Carroll falls to Orangeville

ORANGEVILLE, Ill. — West Carroll closed the regular season with a 9-4 loss to Orangeville on Saturday.

“This was a good game for us going into regionals,” West Carroll coach Bryan Kamper said. “Orangeville is a very good team. We gave up five unearned runs in the fist inning, then played with them for six (innings). If our ‘D’ came through in the first inning, the outcome may have been different.”
