STERLING, Ill. — Kyle Workman shot a 36 for a three-stroke victory over teammate Andrew Cramer, and they led Fulton to a triangular boys golf victory Thursday at Emerald Hill Golf Course.

Fulton shot 162 as a team to outdistance Sterling Newman (171) and Erie (193) in the team standings and improve its record to 20-1 this season.

Prophets top Stark County

LA FAYETTE, Ill. — Jarod Smith claimed medalist honors with a 40 and led Prophetstown past Stark County 181-184 in a boys dual meet Thursday at Lake Calhoun Golf Course.

Smith finished three strokes better than teammate Tyler Rosene, the runner-up. The Prophets improved their record to 10-6.

Anderson leads P’town girls

LENA, Ill. — Jasmine Anderson fired a 43, winning medalist honors by seven strokes and leading Prophetstown past Lena-Winslow 211-228 in a girls golf meet Thursday.

Anderson birdied the par-4 fifth hole and added pars on Nos. 7 and 9 to highlight her round.
