SAVANNA, Ill. — Dubuque Wahlert broke out to a 25-9 lead in the first quarter on its way to a 61-36 non-conference boys basketball victory against West Carroll on Saturday night.
“We did not match their intensity in the first quarter, and we could never recover from that,” West Carroll coach Josh Knuth said.
