PRESTON — Ben Lehmkuhl and James Nelson each fired rounds of 39 to lead the Prince of Peace boys golf team to the team win over Camanche and East Central at Preston’s Plum River Golf Course.
The Irish shot a combined round of 162, just five strokes ahead of Camanche at 167.
Drew Sikkema shot a 40 for the Irish, while Camanche was led by Andrew Kelly and Brady Grell who each turned in rounds of 41. Dan McGarry and Cody Snodgrass were a stroke behind at 42 for the Indians.
East Central was led by Dyllan Frahm and Devan Henfrey who fired rounds of 42 and 46 respectively.
