MORRISON, Ill. — Morrison’s Steven Kuehl won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.7 seconds Monday to lead the Mustangs to a sixth-place finish at the Three Rivers Conference boys track and field meet.

Erie/Prophetstown won a pair of events on its way to a fourth-place finish. Anthony Nielsen was first in the 300 hurdles (42.2) and Shawn Goodhart won the pole vault at 11 feet, 9 inches.

Fulton, which finished seventh, got its best finish from Brian Zahnle, who took third in the 300 hurdles (43.3).

Sterling Newman had seven champions and won the team title with 153 points.

West Carroll boys 7th at NUIC track meet

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ill. — West Carroll earned a pair of second-place finishes on the way to a seventh-place showing Monday at the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference boys track meet. Host Milledgeville placed ninth.

The Thunder got their seconds from Ethan Baisden in the 110-meter hurdles and in the 800 relay.
