Wiersema leads Prophets to win at triangular meet
PROPHETSTOWN, Ill. — Drew Wiersema led the Prophetstown Prophets to the team win as they hosted a triangular golf meet on Monday at Prophet Hills Country Club.
Wiersema shot a nine-hole round of 35 to take medalist honors.
The Prophets had a team score of 177 in the win.
Fulton’s Jake Hanranhan shot a 38 to lead the Steamers to second place. Fulton shot a team score of 182, five strokes behind the host Prophets.
Stark County was third in the team scores with a round of 183.
Fulton’s Kyle Workman was fourth individually with a score of 43.
