MVGA gymnasts compete

— CLINTON — The Mississippi Valley Gymnastics Academy competed at the Iowa State Fair Tumbling Meet in Des Moines on Saturday.
Savanna’s Cheyenne Carlisle was the top finisher for MVGA. Carlisle took first place in the Girls 13-year old Level B division with a score of 8.85.
Keaton Zeimet of DeWitt was second in the Boys 6-year old Level A division with a score of 8.6.
Also taking second was Sara Hassenmiller. Hassenmiller recorded a score of 9.1 in the Girls 10-year old Level B division on the way to her runner-up finish.
