Will Eldrenkamp of Ottumwa, Matt Solis of Bettendorf and Ryan Maske of Iowa City High each advanced individually with rounds of 74.
Clinton head coach Paul Niedermeyer praised the play of senior Brennen Roling.
“I thought Brennen had a pretty solid day and a good year,” Niedermeyer commented. “He is a quality young man and I know he has some plans to play some college golf next year. We will miss him in the River King golf program.”
With another season in the books, Niedermeyer thanked the outgoing seniors and looked to the future of the program.
“We will graduate four seniors off of this year’s team. Roling, Elliott Deering, Greg Heysinger and Alex Feaster,” Niedermeyer said. “I would like to thank all the seniors for their hard work the past few years and good luck to them in the future. While their shoes will be hard to fill, we do have a number of players coming back next season with quite a bit of experience so I see no reason that we should not be as good if not better next year. We saw improvement throughout the season and hopefully that will continue throughout next spring and summer.”
The River Kings’ season comes to a close with a30-42 record.
