River King wrestlers drop three duals

CLINTON — The Clinton wrestling team went 0-3 at the Iowa Grant Dual wrestling tournament on Saturday.

The River Kings opened with 54-18 loss to Iowa Grant (Wis.), followed by a 49-18 loss to Burlington, Wis. Clinton closed the tournament with a 53-24 loss to River Valley (Wis.).

Highlighting the River King day were three win performances from Chris Campbell (112) and Byron Tate (215).

Collecting two wins on day were Ron Genco (103) and Anthony Olalde (125).

The River Kings will hit the mat again on Thursday when they will travel to Davenport to take on Davenport North.
