CLINTON — The Midwest League season doesn't start until Thursday, but the Clinton LumberKings staff and players arrived in town on Sunday.
The roster contains returning pitchers such as Zack Littell, Lukas Schiraldi, Osmer Morales and Patrick Peterson. New faces to the pitching staff include Dylan Silva, Joey Strain, and Kyle Wilcox.
James Alfonso and Arturo Nieto will be the two LumberKings catchers to start the season.
The infielders are Dalton Kelly, Chris Mariscal, Logan Taylor, Rayder Ascanio, Rafael Fernandez and Conner Hale.
The outfielders to start the season are Braden Bishop, Gus Craig, Ricky Eusebio and Luis Liberato.

Former LumberKings infielder Luis Caballero has been added as a field coach to the 2016 LumberKings coaching staff.
Clinton's season-opener is at Kane County for a pair of games before the LumberKings and Cougars finish the home-and-home series at Ashford University Field on Saturday and Sunday.
Clinton had a league-worst record of 46-93 in 2015.
