CAMANCHE — The Camanche Indians found four of their athletes on the River Valley Conference All-Conference list when it was released on Thursday.
Senior Marly Bussa made the Elite team for the RVC. Bussa hit her 1,000th point this season and also became the all-time leading scorer for girls basketball at Camanche High School.
Bussa averaged nearly 15 points a game for the Indians, draining 66 threes and averaging 37 percent from beyond the arc. She also led the team with a whopping 91 steals during the season.
Both Lea Lefebure and Madi Parson made the list for the North Division. Lefebure—a senior— led the team with 213 rebounds during the season and was second in scoring with just over 11 point per game. On top of that, she added in another 55 assists and 112 blocks.
Junior Madi Parson was a close second with 207 rebounds, 73 of them coming on the offensive end. She also led the team with 96 assists and boasted another 42 steals and 42 blocks. Parson averaged just over eight points a game.
Junior Sami Puckett earned honorable mention. Pucket also averaged over eight points a game.
Camanche finished with a record 0f 17-6 after falling to Assumption in the district final game in Bettendorf.
Bellevue found Camryn Reeg on the Elite list, and also had Emma Kelchen, Rebecca Schroeder and Giana Michels made the list. Lindsey Banowetz earned honorable mention honors.
Northeast's Casidy Dondiego earned honorable mention for the Rebels.
