LumberKings Friday doubleheader postponed

Clinton and Cedar Rapids will start series Saturday

CLINTON — Friday night’s doubleheader between the Clinton LumberKings and Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed.

The two teams were supposed to start the four-game set on Thursday but weather has disrupted the series.

The LumberKings and Kernels will play a doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday. Game one on Saturday will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the second game starting 30 minutes after the completion of game one. Gates will open at 3:00 p.m.

Game one on Sunday will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the second game starting 30 minutes after the completion of game one. Gates will open at 11:00 a.m.

The scheduled promotions will all be featured on Saturday. Fans in attendance will receive the KCLN / MAC 94.7 FM magnet schedule, poster schedule and one fan 18 or older will walk away with a new refrigerator courtesy of Clover Hills. Fans will also receive the latest monthly Baseball America publication.
