Northeast came into Friday night’s game against Camanche averaging 72 points a game. The River Hawks surpassed the 80-point mark for the fifth time this season, defeating Camanche 81-58, sparked by an early 10-2 run in the second quarter.
Camanche trailed 18-16 before Easton Valley expanded the lead and lit its spark from there.
Chase Zaruba usually leads the team in scoring, but that honor went to Logan Wilhelm as he posted 31 points. Oh, and Zaruba scored 24 points.
Brody Lodge led Camanche with 11 points; Dylan Busse and Blake Bialas had eight points apiece.
Easton Valley’s season-high is 96 points, a mark its set against Midland on Feb. 1. The low mark on the season is 48 points, which happened Dec. 14 against Northeast.
The River Hawks closed the season on a nine-game winning streak.
