---- — AMBOY, Ill. — Joey Brackemyer threw a complete-game two-hitter against Amboy in a 2-1 Morrison baseball win Wednesday.
Brackemyer was not charged with the run while walking two hitters and striking out 11. He threw 99 pitches and 67 strikes, threw 12 first-pitch strikesand did not force a flyout.
Meanwhile, at the plate for the Mustangs, Bill Lee Greul brought in Ben Tegeler in the third inning on a double to make the score 2-0. Tegeler tripled with one out earlier in the inning.
In the first inning, Justin Jensen had an RBI single that brought in Andy Bird.
Morrison had six hits, including two from Ryan VanZuiden, who doubled in the second inning.
