MAQUOKETA — Two Jackson County men are facing methamphetamine charges after the execution of a search warrant Friday in rural Zwingle.
According to a release, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at 14721 Bellevue Cascade Road, with the assistance of the Iowa State Patrol and the Muscatine County Drug Task Force. Residents Nicholas J. Baker and Shawn M. Stierman, 23, were found at the address, along with numerous other individuals.
A search of the residence located many items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, according to the release. Stierman and Baker were charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth, a class C felony, and gathering where drugs are used, a class D felony.
They are both being held in the Jackson County detention center on $100,000 bonds.
The investigation is ongoing.
