Twenty-eight arrests for drug-related offenses were made Wednesday by the sheriff's office and the county drug task force, sheriff's records show.
Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron said this is part of an ongoing investigation with more arrests to come.
"This operation is a joint effort with the Suwannee County Drug Task Force and I would like to thank the Live Oak Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, employees of the sheriff's office and probation and parole for their participation in this endeavor to clean up the streets," Cameron said by phone Thursday.
Arrested were:
Donna Lynn Atzert, 35, of 5012 69th Drive, charged with possession of cannabis with intent to sell, sale of cannabis and unlawful use of a two way device;
Hubert Clayton Blackburn, 49, of 1600 Helvenston Street, Apt. Q2, sale of legend drug and two counts of trafficking hydrocodone;
Moses Braziel III, 41, of 318 10th Street, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, two counts of selling of cocaine within 1000 feet of a church, two counts of selling of cocaine within 1000 feet of a day care facility and possession of cocaine with intent to sell;
Lenelle Angela Burdick, 41, of 15617 97th Drive, possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell and sale of oxycodone;
Jeffrey Jermaine Butler, 21, of 10458 CR 417, possession of cannabis with the intent to sell, sale of cannabis within 1000 feet of a church, two counts of unlawful use of a two way device, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and the sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a church;
Penny Carender, 50, of 18735 66th Street, traffic in hydrocodone, possession of zolpidem tartrate with the intent to sell, sale of zolpidem tartrate and the unlawful use of a two way device;
Deborah Shanks Coon, 54, 20678 97th Drive, O'Brien, trafficking in hydrocodone.
Adam James Covit, 30, of 4249 SR 6, Jasper, sale of a controlled substance (valium), sale of a controlled substance (dilaurid), possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell (valium) and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell (dilaudid);
Ruven Cruz, 26, of 1110 5th Street, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, sale of cocaine and the unlawful use of a two way device.
Angela Marie Farmer, 38, of 7570 118th Place, sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine with the intent to sell;
Brenda Floyd, 44, 22121 104th Street, Suwannee County warrant on the original charge traffic in hydrocodone;
Charles Edward Gill, 44, of 613 Colonial Street, two counts of trafficking in oxycodone;
Tony Lamar Hill, 48, of 7381 US 90 W, possession of cannabis with the intent to sell and sale of cannabis within 1000 feet of a church;
Charles Monroe Horne Jr., 45, of 414 Mussey Avenue, trafficking in hydrocodone;
Misty Baldwin Kendall, 39, of 703 Northwest Drive, possession of hydrocodone with the intent to sell, sale of hydrocodone within 1000 feet of a school, traffic in hydrocodone, sale of hydrocodone within 1000 feet of a church and the unlawful use of a two way communication device;
Michael Anthony Lee, 46, of 409 McGee Street, possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis;
Gerald Allan Lehman, 38, of 10994 216th Terrace, O'Brien, possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell, sale of oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell (oxycodone) and sale of a controlled substance (oxycodone);
James Alan Lister, 41, of 17752 14th Trace, possession of methadone with the intent to sell, sale of methadone, sale of cocaine, trafficking in hydrocodone and possession of cocaine with the intent to sell;
Richard Harold Mercer, 53, of 18735 66th Street, trafficking in hydrocodone, trafficking in morphine, possession of morphine with the intent to sell and sale of morphine;
Linda Susan Miller, 47, of 8524 208th Place, O'Brien, possession of morphine with the intent to sell, sale of a controlled substance (morphine), possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell, sale of a controlled substance (oxycodone) within 1000 feet of a church, possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell sale of oxycodone within 1000 feet of a church and sale of legend drug;
Thomas Lee Nicholson, 18, of 909 Brown Ave N.W., possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and sale of marijuana within 1000 feet of place of worship.
Jacqueline Renee Parnell, 27, of 5697 209th Road, two counts of trafficking in hydrocodone and two counts of the unlawful use of a two way communication device;
Pedro Pino, 36, of 18353 144th Street, sale of cannabis and possession of cannabis with the intent to sell;
Herman Leroy Sapp, 68, of 333 Lewis Blvd., possession with the intent to sell, sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, unlawful use of a two way communication device and sale of cocaine;
Danny Ray Smith, 46, of 10542 24th Street, sale of hydrocodone and possession of hydrocodone with the intent to sell;
Kelvin Maurice Smith, 39, of 822 7th Street, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and sale of cocaine;
Amanda Lee Street, 29, 241 SW Clint Way, Lake City, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia;
Jamie Bernard Thomas, 36, of Holmes Correctional, Bonifay, Fl., trafficking in a controlled substance (less than 14 grams), sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a place of worship, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and sale of substance in lieu of a controlled substance.
