The Corner Church of the Lord Jesus will celebrate their Founders Day with a 5-day service beginning at 7 each night. Other speakers include: The Rev. Betty Watkins of Truevine Holi-ness Church, Norwood, Nov. 5; Rev. Linda Turner of Victory Temple Church, Albemarle, Nov. 6; Bishop Richardson of Saints Delight Church at 3 p.m. Nov. 7; Bishop R.O. Ingram at 11 a.m. Nov. 8. Everyone is invited to attend.

Fellowship of the Rock

Join Fellowship of the Rock for a mini-conference (prophetic teaching and activation) with Rev. Joni Ames at 6 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9:45 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 7. The meeting is at T.T.R.M., 1433 E. Main St. (across the street from the bowling alley) in Albemarle. Parking is behind the building.

Saints Delight Church

We will resume our Bible Study every Wednesday at 7 p.m. We will study the book of Romans. Everyone is asked to please bring Bibles and note pads. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.; Sunday morning worship is at 11 a.m.

Concert

Please mark your calendars for the concert of the year: Saints Delight Praise Team features The Dorethea Smith Gospel Singers at 5 p.m. Nov. 21. Also appearing will be the Price Sisters of Pageland, S.C., along with the Shekinah Glory Mimes of Montgomery County.

The Dorethea Smith singers have come together to unite as one to host a Reunion Celebration you will never ever forget. Old and new members have been rehearsing day and night to prepare for this great celebration.

Poplar Springs Baptist

The members of Poplar Springs Church will celebrate the first anniversary of their pastor, Rev. Deidre McBride, on Nov. 8.

The morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with Minister Debra Marsh of The Rock Church, Monroe, as speaker and Rev. Andrew Davis of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church as the 2:30 p.m. speaker. Everyone is invited.

Spirit and Truth

The members of Spirit and Truth United Church of Worship will celebrate the ninth anniversary of their pastor, Rev. Darryl W. Medley, beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Hillside Building off Old Salisbury Road, Albemarle.  The guest speaker will be Rev. Arnette Wall of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Albemarle. 

We will resume at 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at the church at 100 Moss Springs Road, Albemarle. Guest speakers will be Evangelists Moses and Evelyn Grant of Siler City. 

Lenoir Rhyne University Gospel Choir NU Generation, Lenoir, will perform during both events.
