    Robert and Linda Morrison of Albemarle celebrated 50 years of marriage Sept. 19, 2009.
    The former Linda Hood and Robert Morrison were united in marriage by Rev. Lyle Weed in the Vestal Methodist Church in Vestal, N.Y.
  •  Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Dennis
    Kendra Little and Kyle Dennis are making their home in Troy following their marriage Sept. 19, 2009, at White Crest Baptist Church in Mt. Gilead. The Rev. Danny Laws and Ken Mcrae conducted the ceremony. A reception followed in the fellowship hall of the church.

    Stephanie Elizabeth Latta of Charlotte, NC and Lee West Cartwright of Winston-Salem, NC were united in marriage October 24, 2009, on the beach at Kingston Plantation, Myrtle Beach, S.C. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Harold Mitchell.
    The bride is the daughter of Mrs. W. H. Latta and the late Mr. Latta of Matthews, NC and the granddaughter of Mrs. Curtis W. Stephens and the late Mr. Stephens of Lillington, NC and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Latta of Bunnlevel, NC.

    Susan Elizabeth Sinclair and Kenneth Russell Brown were married at six o’clock Saturday, August 29, 2009, at The Point Lake and Golf Club at Lake Norman, in a ceremony officiated by The Reverend John W. Futterer of First Lutheran Church in Albemarle.

    Hal E. and Kay F. Harwood of Millingport celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 5, 2009, at Bluebay Restaurant in Albemarle. Joining them for this special occasion were their sons and daughters-in-law, Doug Harwood and Tiffany of Clayton and Michael Harwood and Starla of Millingport.
