Clinton police are currently investigating the theft of approximately $9,800 worth of rings from a local pawn shop.
According to a police report, a representative from Library Pawn Shop, 901 N. Second St., reported the theft of eight women’s 14 karat gold rings. The theft took place sometime between March 18 and March 19, according to the report filed March 20. Clinton Police Capt. Bill Greenwalt said investigators do not know the exact time the rings were taken.
