Clinton Church of Christ welcomes minister

CLINTON — The Clinton Church of Christ, 210 N. 13th St., has welcomed a new minister.

Originally from Nigeria, Pastor Johnson Folahan has joined the church, along with his wife, Alyssa, and sons Elijah and Elisha.

He also serves as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Folahan and his wife are both graduates of Lincoln Christian University, in Lincoln, Ill. He has a master of divinity degree, with a preaching emphasis.

She has a bachelor of arts degree in music ministry and a master of arts in worship studies.

Folahan and the congregation invite the community to attend services at the Clinton Church of Christ.

Services are held at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, with Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 a.m. A youth group for middle and high school students meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8 on Wednesdays.
