Police investigate shooting in Clinton

CLINTON — Clinton Police are investigating a report of gunfire that allegedly took place Thursday on South Sixth Street.

Officers responded to the 300 block of South Sixth Street at 7:17 p.m. Thursday in reference to a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they did not locate anyone who had been shot or injured.

During the investigation, officers confirmed there was a verbal altercation between multiple individuals, followed by several gunshots.

No arrests have been made.
