Let’s end the confusion. Take a stand in the next few days and get something done. That’s what residents will be looking for when the election happens in November.
City Council members can display some of that decisiveness in October when making a choice in favor of Clinton citizens.
That’s a choice I hope I won’t have to hold my breath for.
It’s about time some harder games show up on the college football calendar. I’m not making any tremendous picks, but the schedule has been so easy, it’s almost impossible not to get close to 20 wins each week.
This week will tell us a lot about Iowa. A win against Minnesota could show the Hawks they belong with some of the better teams of the Big 10.
A loss could mean the opposite. I’m not sold on Iowa State, so Iowa’s schedule hasn’t shown me much yet. If Iowa wins this week, then I may become a believer that they could get to a bowl game.
Like always, feel free to go toe-to-toe with me, and log on to www.clintonherald.com and click on the College Football Sweepstakes. If you do well, you will be in a drawing for a Dick’s Sporting Goods gift certificate.
