Illinois police investigates burglary

---- — CHADWICK, Ill. — Police are investigating a residential burglary in Chadwick.

According to a release by the Carroll County Crime Stoppers, Chadwick police are investigating a burglary that occurred between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at 503 N. Main St. in Chadwick. Unknown subjects entered a home while the homeowners were away and took an unspecified amount of U.S. currency.

No signs of forced entry were found, according to the release.

The Carroll County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving this crime. Callers providing information leading to an arrest will receive a reward of as much as $1,000. Anyone with information, should contact Crime Stoppers at (815) 244-7867.
