According to Clinton School District Superintendent Deb Olson, at approximately 11:30 a.m. today a person was found unresponsive on the sidewalk outside Eagle Heights Elementary School.
The school nurse evaluated the person, performed CPR and used the AED to shock the heart.
Once the Clinton Fire Department arrived, firefighters took over.
The person was transported to the hospital and is now responsive and stable and family is present, Olson said.
