BELLEVUE — Two men are facing class B felony charges for robbing a Bellevue man.
Jace H. Erikson, 20, and Collin J. Even, 22, of Bellevue, have been charged with robbery in the first degree, a class B felony carrying as much as 25 years in prison. As a forceable felony, the charge mandates a minimum prison sentence of 70 percent of the sentence issued by the court.
According to a release, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 11 of a robbery in rural Bellevue. Erikson and Even allegedly took $200 and a PlayStation 3 from the victim.
During the robbery, one of the defendants allegedly Tasered the victim and produced a handgun.
Both defendants were taken to the Jackson County Detention Center, with Erikson held on a $250,000 bond and Even held on a $100,000 bond. Their preliminary hearing will be at 9 a.m. Friday.
