In 2012, over 70 million pounds of food was collected nationally. Locally, over 26,000 pounds of food was collected and given to area food banks. This brings a grand total of almost 400,000 pounds collected over the past 18 years.
If you would like to make a cash donation, please make out a check to your local pantry, the Salvation Army or the Benevolent Society. Local communities participating this year include Clinton, Camanche, DeWitt, Bryant, Goose Lake, Andover, Charlotte and Low Moor in Iowa and Hillsdale, Fulton, Albany, Port Byron, Tampico and Prophetstown in Illinois.
