Grain futures mostly higher, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery rose 7.25 cents to $6.535 a bushel; December corn was 2.25 cents higher at $4.5325 a bushel; December oats were 0.75 cent higher at $3.095 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 7.5 cents to $13.0775 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose .75 cent to $1.305 a pound; November feeder cattle was 1.62 cents higher at $1.6237 a pound; while December lean hogs were 0.35 cent higher at $.8642 a pound.
