A man forced his way into a Brothersvalley Township woman’s home early Thursday afternoon and assaulted her, said state police at Somerset.
The man, whose identity was not known, knocked on the woman’s door. When she answered the door, the man called her by name and said he was a software vendor, police said.
The man forced his way inside and assaulted the woman, police said. He then fled.
The man was described as white and between 28 and
32 years of age.
He was 6 feet 2 inches to
6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed about 215 pounds.
He has brown hair, a shaved head and a goatee. He is believed to have a tattoo on the back of his left shoulder.
He was wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes and a fancy watch on his left wrist.
He was driving a sport utility vehicle, thought to be a Jeep Liberty, police said.
