Elizabeth Pryor, Franklin Saylor
Elizabeth Ann Pryor and Franklin E. Saylor were married May 9, 2009, at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, Upper Yoder Township.
The Rev. William E. Rosenbaum, pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Edward C. and Elizabeth Pryor of Johnstown.
The groom is the son of Gary and Jackie Saylor of Hollsopple.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Erika Rae Jacobs of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as maid of honor, and Amy L. Knapp of Massillon, Ohio, sister of the bride, as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Marcie Pryor of Akron, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride; Christina Saylor of State College, sister of the groom; and Britney Bambino.
Jeremy Jarosick was the best man.
Ushers were Robert K. Knapp of Massillon, Ohio, brother-in-law of the bride; Edward C. Pryor II of Akron, brother of the bride; Michael Saylor, brother of the groom; and Dan Mishler.
Flower girls were Evalienna Pryor of Akron, godchild and niece of the bride, and Madeleine and Nadia Oliveros, cousins of the bride.
Ringbearers were Jack Pryor of Akron, nephew of the bride, and Wyatt Coakley and Austin Coakley, both of State College, cousins of the groom.
Evonne Yanzetich was the organist. Kathleen Bumbernick was the vocalist.
Readers were Frederico Oliveros, uncle of the bride; Rosemary Batzel, godmother of the bride; and Roxanne Guaetta, aunt of the groom.
A dinner and a reception were held at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church hall, Benscreek.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Disney World.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and a 2007 graduate of St. Francis University, where she graduated cum laude.
She is a special education teacher at Greensboro Elementary School, Greensboro, Md.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville.
He is employed by Marco Supply Co., Chantilly, Va., in outside sales.
The newlyweds reside in Harrington, Del.
